The InterTradeIreland Acumen Programme is a cross-border business development programme designed by InterTradeIreland to stimulate cross-border trade amongst small and medium enterprises in both parts of Ireland. The programme assists individual SMEs with tailored consultancy and salary support mechanisms for market builders, in cross-border markets in Ireland. Where a company wants to undertake a significant new cross-border initiative, Acumen will assist in finding and matching this consultancy expertise and will fund 50% of the cost of the consultancy up to €8,500. Where a company has already established cross-border market entry, Acumen will assist with the costs involved in putting in place a dedicated person to champion and service that market - up to 50% of the first year’s taxable salary for such an appointment within a company, up to a maximum of €17,000. |
