The Aquaculture Development Centre at University College Cork supports, stimulates and promotes the development of aquaculture in all its forms, through research, training and consultancy. It provides consultancy and training services for public and private sector clients, nationally and internationally.

It maintains the gateway, Aquaculture.ie.

The Centre is amalgamating with other research areas to become part of the new Environmental Research Institute (ERI).
