Action South Kildare is one of the Community Groups funded by Area Development Management, as part of its Local Development programme. It responds to long-term unemployment and social disadvantage in the South Kildare area by bringing together the efforts and resources of State bodies, the local authority, voluntary agencies, local communities and entrepreneurs.
It provides support for enterprise, as well as training, childcare, education and community development, through financial grant aid, leadership and technical assistance.
