The Enterprise Support Unit (ESU), part of Bank of Ireland Enterprise Finance, is a specialist unit which is committed to the start-up and developing SME sector.

The ESU provides short and medium-term working capital facilities, with a normal lending range from E65,000 to E300,000. It works closely with businesses to assist in providing the right financial package to allow the company grow. The ESU also provides hands-on support and offers a full range of lending products at AA lending rates.

The Enterprise Support Unit provides access to the full range of Bank of Ireland facilities, including invoice discounting (Bank of Ireland Commercial Finance) and leasing/hire purchase.

Bank of Ireland also operates BOI Venture Capital Ltd and the Enterprise2000 Fund.

Bank of Ireland also has a nationwide network of Enterprise Advisors.
