Bord Bia is the state agency charged with the marketing and promotional development of Irish food, drink and horticulture, both on the domestic market and overseas, operating to a mission statement of driving “the success of a world class Irish food, drink and horticulture industry by providing strategic market development, promotion and information services”.
Following a strategic review, Bord Bia is committed to promoting excellence within the food and horticulture industry, by developing integrated programmes and services dedicated to its differing client needs and requirements, focussed on enhancing the high value potential of the overall sector.
