CPLN Partnership is one of 38 Area partnership Companies in Ireland. The Partnership was established by the Government in 1996 as 'Clondalkin Partnership'. The Partnership is an organisation aimed at tackling disadvantage and social exclusion and is supported by the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs.

The objectives of the Partnership are to:

• Promote and engage in social development
• Support enterprise development
• Facilitate rural and urban regneration
• Engage in community development
• Deal with the causes or consequences of social and economic disadvantage.
