Assisted by the International Fund for Ireland, the programme is managed jointly by Enterprise Ireland and LEDU.

It aims to attract start-up businesses with a technology focus to the North-West and will be managed through Enterprise Ireland's regional offices in Sligo and Letterkenny as well as LEDU's offices in Omagh, Western Region and North Western region.

A 12-month programme will act as an incubation period to allow participants to assess the viability of their business proposal. Workshops and lectures on business development topics, as well as funding and networks, are also available. The programme begins in April 2001.
