Crucible is an early-stage investment company concentrating on the technology sector. Its mission is to help Irish entrepreneurs develop innovative business concepts into transatlantic business operations. Crucible only invests in companies with patentable technology or which can build long-term technical barriers to entry and which are primarily targeting the US market. Typically it will invest up to $1.5 million in a seed, start-up or early-stage opportunity. Crucible will also take an active role in helping the investment secure follow-on financing as the company develops.
A majority interest in Crucible is held by Cross Atlantic Capital Partners.
