The Enterprise Platform Programmes are 12-month incubation programmes, targeted primarily at technology entrepreneurs, run by the ITs and Universities, with funding from the Department of Education and Science, the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment, and managed by Enterprise Ireland.

Participants receive a monthly grant of €550, training, mentoring and incubation space.

Subject to approval from Enterprise Ireland, participants also may be entitled to an EU-funded CORD grant of up to half their previous salary.

Enterprise Platform Programmes currently operate in:

• Athlone - Enterprise Development Programme
• Cork - Genesis Enterprise Programme
• Dundalk - North East EPP
• Dublin - M50 EPP; HotHouse and Create
• Letterkeny / Sligo - CEIM EPP
• Limerick - Limerick Enterprise Acceleration Prorgamme - LEAP

• Waterford - South East EPP.

The programmes offer:

• A grant of €550 per month
• An additional grant of up to half your last year's salary (up to a maximum, including the basic grant, of €38,000 pa) - for CORD-sponsored participants only
• Training
• Mentoring
• Office space
• Access to Programme partners' facilities
• Networking opportunities.
