The Flax Trust is the largest community regeneration project in the whole of Ireland and is committed to the “reconciliation of a divided community through economic and social development, bringing peace to both communities, one person and one job at a time”. Using abandoned linen mills located within the Ardoyne/Shankill interface, a Belfast “no man’s land”, it developed the Brookfield Business Centre, where over 330 new businesses have been incubated in 232,000 sq ft of workspace. |
