Formerly the Irish Energy Centre, Sustainable Energy Ireland is Ireland’s national agency for energy efficiency and renewable energy information, advice and support. EU-funded, the Centre’s mission is to promote the development of a sustainable national energy economy.
The Centre provides guidance on the potential for more efficient use of energy in home, office, industry and municipal activities and on the development of renewable energy resources, from commercial projects to domestic applications. Practical information and advice is offered through targeted conferences, seminars, workshops and publications.
In addition, the Centre offers advice on potential sources of funding for sustainable energy initiatives.
