LEDU is the small business agency in Northern Ireland, helping businesses that employ fewer than 50 people in the manufacturing and tradeable services sectors.

LEDU has a range of supports available to those who are considering starting up a new business and offers advice, training and financial support to enable established businesses to overcome barriers to growth. Lots of useful guidance and advice are available for download on its website.

It established 45 Local Enterprise Agencies throughout Northern Ireland under its Local Enterprise Programme. These are the key delivery points for LEDU’s start-up and small business programmes and services.

LEDU provides support for EDnet-NI.com and operates Regional Information Centres (RICs) at its local offices in Ballymena, Londonderry, Newry and Omagh, where free access to business information is available.
