The Louth County Enterprise Fund was formed as part of the International Fund for Ireland’s Border Counties initiative in 1988.

Its aim is to lend money for business purposes to promoters who cannot get a hearing elsewhere.

The current Loan Fund is funded by the EU Special Support Programme for Peace & Reconciliation, Louth County Enterprise Board, the Department of Social, Community & Family Affairs, Drogheda Partnership, Dundalk Partnership and Louth LEADER.
