The Institute of Technology Tallaght and the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, with Dublin City University and University College Dublin, have been awarded funding under the National Development Plan 2000-2006 to run an Enterprise Platform Programme in the M50 corridor in each of the three years from 2001.

The one-year full-time programme provides:

  • Funding
  • Mentoring
  • Incubation space
  • Training.

It aims to provide the participants with the skills to develop a business idea to launch-stage or, in the case of businesses already trading, to strengthen their market and trading position. Participants must have an innovative business idea and a third level qualification in any discipline. As the programme is fully-funded by the Government, it does not ask for any return (equity, etc) from the participants.

See also Enterprise Programmes for details of EPPs in other locations.
