NMRC, operating within University College Cork, is a Centre of Excellence in selected Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) fields. An advanced research division with groups in the areas of computational modelling, nanotechnology, photonics and transducers has been established to broaden NMRC’s longer-term basic technological research base.
NMRC provides Irish and European industry and higher education establishments with access to an extensive range of technology from advanced research to new product development and the provision of technical support services.
An Industry division provides a single entry point to industry R&D, services and training at NMRC.
