Waterford LEADER Partnership is one of the Area Partnerships funded by Area Development Management, as part of its Local Development programme, and also a LEADER+ company serving Co Waterford.

WDP headquarters are in Lismore, with branch offices in Dungarvan and Passage East. Eight full-time staff are employed, all with experience in rural development.

It has four main areas of focus:

• Enterprise development
• Rural tourism
• Education & training
• Community development & services for the unemployed.

It also hosts the Carréfour for the South-East region (South East European Centre) in its Dungarvan office.

It is one of the organisations behind FarmOptions.ie, and offers a Start-up Business Programme for Women.
