West Offaly Integrated Development Partnership is one of the Community Groups funded by Area Development Management, as part of its Local Development programme.

The Partnership acts as a catalyst for local development, particularly in Enterprise where it complements the pre-application work with a business support service for the first six to 12 months of operation.

West Offaly Partnership was founded in 1994 as a network of existing community groups in West Offaly: Banagher, Belmont,Cloghan, Eglish/Rath, Ferbane, Kilcormac, Shannonbridge/Clonmacnoise and Shannonharbour. More recently, communities in Doon, Ballycumber, Ballinahowan and Pullough have come on board.
